New CDD Impact Video: The Ramirez June Initiative
Over the summer, the CDD and the New York State Department of State’s Office for New Americans (ONA) celebrated the success of ONA’s Ramirez June Initiative, a CDD-supported five-year pilot program to assist new Americans with developmental disabilities and their families to connect with vital resources, information, and services.

Learn about the CDD's commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility (DEIA) through a new webpage on the CDD's website.
Resources include the CDD's five-year DEIA Strategic Plan to increase and support the diversity of council members and staff; grantees and grant projects, advocacy efforts, and all aspects of the agency’s work.
The NYS CDD is one of the first developmental disabilities (DD) councils in the country to implement a DEIA plan and hopes to be an example to other organizations across the state and nation.
